Gov’t To Airlift Ghanaian Citizens Stranded In US Amid COV!D-19 Lockdown

Reports from a close source reaching the news team of GB Africa has it that, the Government of Ghana under the able auspices of His Excellency, President Williams Addo Dankwa “Nana” Akufo-Addo, has arrayed mechanisms to airlift some Ghanaians who are locked up in America, Europe, UK due to the suspension of flights and the lockdown in the country to limit the spread of the cornovirus Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Celebrities including, Sarkodie, D Black, Pappy Kojo, Agbeshie etc. who embarked on a tour and other music related activities are currently stuck in the United States Of America due to the outbreak of the virus. Sarkodie beseeched the president to relax the close of Ghana’s borders to enable Ghanaians who are currently stuck outside the country to return home following the president’s announcement that, the ban on movements in Greater Accra, Tema, and Greater Kumasi.

However, the reports has it that, the Government of Ghana is set to arrange for an unscheduled flight to airlift the Ghanaians who are strand in those geographical areas to return to their families. Though much is not known about this decision, its believed that the actions will be effective this week.
