‘My ‘Toto’ song is a big hit although the media labelled it profane’ – Edem

Ewe rap proponent, Edem has gushed over his recent song, ‘Toto’ which has become a massive hit despite being blacklisted by the media for being profane.

‘Toto’ is a Ga word for a woman’s v*gina and it was thought the song is not radio-friendly for the youth, hence the ban albeit not being official.

Ironically, the same youth have embraced it and now it’s a massive hit throughout the country.

The musician took to his Instagram platform to express his emotions about the song. He wrote:

“RADIO NEVER PLAYED THIS SONG COS THEY CLAIM ITS PROFANE…TV DIDNT PLAY IT EITHER…WELL F$@K EM..THE PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN….#GBEVUNATION#VRMG#GOGETEM”
