Ex-Ghana star Junior Agogo is dead

Ex-Ghana striker and 2008 Africa Cup of Nations poster boy Junior Agogo is reported dead at age 40.

Agogo was hospitalized in 2015 after suffering stroke.(A medical condition in which blood is suddenly blocked and cannot reach the brain, or in which a blood vessel in the brain breaks, often causing a loss of the ability to speak or to move particular muscles.)

Manuel “Junior” Agogo was a Ghanaian former professional footballer who played as a striker. He was born in Ghana but spent most of his childhood in the UK. He then moved back to Ghana during his years in secondary school. He began his youth career at Sheffield Wednesday in 1995, moving up to the senior squad in 1997 .He was born on August 1, 1979
