Multiple awards winning Ghanaian rap and hip life fusion recording and performing artiste, Michael Owusu Addo professionally known as, Sarkodie has revealed that, he is set to release the third single off his yet to be divulged music studio project christened, “Black Love”

The release date for his third single titled, “Do You” is slated for Friday, August 16, 2019 and it comes at the back after the Black Entertainment Tv (BET) awards winner made his intention of availing his 6th music album, Black Love, after a successful release, promotion of four(4) studio album( Makye – 2009, Rapperholic – 2012, Sarkology – 2014 and Highest – 2017), one(1) live album(Mary – 2015) and an Extended Play(EP) Alpha – 2019.

As the name suggests and off a love album, “Do You” is a question lovers ask each other for a confirmation of their affection and commitment to the positive growth of their relationship. Or basically “Do You” means something like, do whatever you like or do what your heart desires.

The single is expected to be another banger with characteristics and merits of elevating the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) Artiste of the Decade’s album as its predecessors (Can’t Let You Go, Lucky) are precedentedly achieving in Ghana’s entertainment landscape. The single is expected to top music charts and also be the foundation on which the album will survive.

Earlier, the management Sarkodie, SarkCess Music released the debut single featuring King Promise, “Can’t Let You Go”, and the second single which has a member of defunct Nigerian music group(PSquare), Rude Boy on duty, “Lucky” off the album and was premiered across major radio stations across Africa and the rest of the world and made available via digital platforms days after.

The MOG Beatz-produced single is a well-packaged love up song with clean lyrics, short musical composition with distinctive characteristic that defines it to be an Afropop jam, cracking and dandy that is appealing to the right thinking member of the society and can be enjoyed over a long period of time.

Although very little is known about the “Black Love” album, snipert of the video can confirm that the album is a great piece of work with major collaborations from other renowned African artists. The album will be distributed by Ditto Music, same company responsible for the distribution of Alpha.

The album features, Rude boy of PSquare fame, English actor and musician, Idris Elba, Grammy nominee, Stonebwoy, Mr. Eazi, Bisa Kdei, and a lot more. Black Love is an all love themed album and as the name suggests, it gives off a signal it might be an all love themed kind of album which focuses on the pride of Africans.
