Shatta Wale’s mother begs Ghanaians to forgive him and Stonebwoy

Madam Elsie Avemegah, Shatta Wale’s mother, has made a passionate appeal to Ghanaians concerning her son and Stonebwoy.

She said Ghanaians should forgive the two musicians for the confusion that happened on the night of the 2019 VGMA. Shatta Wale’s mother said these are trying times for her owing to the fact that her son and Stonenbwoy are in court.

She was reportedly speaking in a report sighted by YEN.com.gh on Ghanaweb.com. Madam Avemegah said at this point in her life, she needs all the peace of mind she can get to support both her son and Stonebwoy in court. She was apparently speaking on the many allegations that had been hurled at her by Mark Okraku Mantey, an entertainment pundit that she is to blame for Shatta Wale’s behaviour.
According to the mother who reportedly sounded somber, she does not always support everything Shatta Wale does. Given the court case, Madam Avemegah said Mark should leave her alone to have the required energy and peace of mind during these court times.

Meanwhile, in an earlier interview by YEN.com.gh, Shatta Wale mother revealed that he is cousins with Stonebwoy.

She disclosed that they both come from the Ahiable family in the Volta Region. Also, the two are being tried in court following their VGMA brawl in which Stonebwoy pulled a gun in public. They were earlier granted bail at GHC50,000 each.
