Sarkodie has adviced his fellow musicians to focus on the work rather than fighting each other.

Sarkodie opined Ghanaian music was doing well on the international front and there was no time for distractions.

He also went further to state though throwing of shots in songs were part of the art, and kept artistes on their toes especially in the hiphop and dancehall genre.
Sarkodie however stated there were limits to it.

Sarkodie also adviced his fellow artistes to control their emotions since one wrong reflex action could lead to a wrong decision.

We can disagree with each other and we don’t have to be friends but we can’t let that take away from the fact that we know how DOPE we are 😊 … We all play a part in pushing our country Ghana.
My brother SHATTA-WALE can get me mad ( cos I’m human ) and I have every right to… same as him but I will never ever Let that take away how dope this brother is in my eyes … and he knows that for sure !
My countless conversations has been about the bigger picture … you don’t need to like me I don’t either but we can’t miss the “BIGGER PICTURE

Sarkodie’s advice comes after the on stage brawl between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy which disrupted the 20th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards held at the Conference Centre.
