Andy Dosty of Hitz Fm has revealed that he has forgiven Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale after the two engaged in a social media brawl.

The two, who had a great friendship over the years, with Shatta Wale gifting the presenter $1000 last year, had a falling out earlier this year after the Hitz FM Presenter highlighted the report on his show as the “Big Story” of the day and that infuriated the Dancehall artiste.

Shatta Wale is reported to have said that the Ghanaian youth are broke because they fool a lot but he got furious that Andy Dosty has amplified his alleged comments.

Shatta via a tweet wrote that Andy might think he is tarnishing his image but in reality, he is only digging own grave.

A hurt Andy Dosty also recounted all that he had done for Shatta Wale and how the man was now repaying him with insults.

“I was that gentleman who came to Accra, took his CDs, went to Kumasi to share among radio stations and presenters; it was me. I drove around in Kumasi; my car, my fuel, showing him that love. Telling people there is a new kid on the block. I created a monster,” he stated.

At the MTN Music Festival on Tuesday, March 5, Andy, who was the official DJ on the night made a statement suggesting he has forgiven the self-acclaimed dancehall king before dropping one of his hit songs, ‘My Level.’

He said, “I know there have been some issues between me and a certain gentleman, well I want you to do me this favor, please tell that gentleman that I have forgiven him.”

Touching on the issue in a previous interview on 3FM, the Hitz FM presenter explained that he bore no malice whatsoever against Shatta Wale and had thought his post was one of the usual jokes he shared with the musician because they had a good relationship until he saw a video posted by Shatta Wale of an SM fan insulting him (Andy Dosty).

“There was a video of someone insulting me left, right and center that he (Shatta Wale) has posted. That was when I saw the intensity of the matter,” Andy Dosty told MC Bobby.
