I won’t feature in any mainstream arts; only underground – Shatta Wale

Known in real life as Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr. is set to unveil his much-awaited album concert dubbed ‘The Reign Album’ as he revealed that he’s not ready to record with any mainstream artistes.

Shatta Wale affirmed this in an interview on Accra based Zylofon FM on their morning flagship programme ‘Showbiz Agenda’.

Although, the self-acclaimed dancehall never spoke about what was trending between himself [Shatta Wale] and Sarkodie, but rather revealed he’s not ready to record with any ABC arts only underground art.

According to him, I won’t record with any ABC artistes but rather underground artistes only.


When asked reason for his statement made? He said, there so many underground artistes who need a massive push in the industry that’s why I’ve my militants doing great and next year we will drop our joint album.

He continued that, it high time we need to concentrate on our underground artistes that’s why I’m doing this for them.

The Kakai hitmaker confirmed that his much-awaited album concert which comes off tomorrow Saturday at the Fantasy Dome will close exactly 12 pm as he entreats patrons to be there on time for his magical live band performance.
