My wife advised me against ‘fake’ friends – Captain Planet

Hiplife artiste Captain Planet has revealed how his wife Uche Ofodile saved him from bad friends.

He told Jessica Opare-Saforo on Citi FM’s Traffic Avenue that his wife asked him to be careful with his friends but he did not listen.

“My wife told me that ‘you have so many friends, some are not adding value to your life. They are just distraction. Some too are not the friends you think they are. So be careful,” he said.

He said after learning lessons from keeping those friends, he decided to stick to those who would add value to his life.

He therefore advised married men to pay heed to what their wives tell them.

According to the ‘Akpeteshie’ rapper, women are able to make the right decision – so it it prudent that men listen to their wives’ advice.

“If you are a guy I’ll say listen to your wife all the time. My wife told me a lot of things I never paid attention to but it got to a time I realised that she was right. I believe that God speaks through them. Even if it’s your girlfriend listen to her,” he said.

Even though his wife, Uche Ofodile is in Liberia at the moment, Captain Planet (Born Sylvanus Dodji) is not bothered with the distance because according to him that is the life he has chosen.

He told Jessica his wife has been a great blessing to him because she puts him in check.
