He was allegedly sacked for criticizing Kwesi Nyantakyi
Songo, according to sources, is expected to be back on the screens has sighted a post on social media which hints that Countryman Songo would be returning to the screens soon. The post was sighted on the Facebook page of a Multimedia sports Journalist, Gary Al-Smith. Gary posted what looks like a banner showing the time ‘Fire for Fire’ would be aired with Songo as the host.

From his post, it could be understood that Songo would be hosting Fire for Fire once more after he painfully lost that job over Nyantakyi some months back.

Songo was sacked by Multimedia because he allegedly opened too much fire on Nyantakyi, accusing him of all sorts of corrupt deals when he had no evident. However, it seems after Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ exposé on Kwesi Nyantakyi, a vindicated Songo has found favour in the eyes of his former employers again that they have reassigned that job to him.

Other sources available to from another social media user has it that Songo has landed a juicy deal with Zylofon TV, therefore, he would not be going back to “ungrateful” Multimedia.
Following the post by Gary, other social media users believe if Songo would be joining Multimedia again, then the company needs to apologize to him for sacking him.
