Friends Keep Telling Me To Quit Rap Because I’m Disgracing My Father – Eno Barony

Ruth Nana Serwaa Amankwah Nyame, known professionally by her stage name Eno Barony has shared with the public how have been advising her to shun rap just to safeguard the image of her biological father who doubles as a man of God.

According to her, people criticize her for choosing to be a rapper when her father is a Pastor. She indicated that what puts her off is the fact that people remind her of Ebony’s untimely death and ask her to change from what she is doing because she may also face similar fate.

Eno Barony who’s arguably the contemporary best African female rapper shared her bitter experience faced in the hands of friends and acquaintances via Instagram that;

“Some people always be like girl am not happy about what you do , your dad is a pastor when will u do gospel a colleague of yours just died so stop doing music but the thing is if a Tailor dies I don’t see other tailors quitting and is it even wrong to be a rapper as a pastors daughter”.

On records, Eno Barony was nominated in the category of The Best Rapper of The Year at the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) but failed to win. She’s currently promoting her debut album christened, “Yaa Asantewaa”.
