Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Explains Why He And Fast & Furious Co-Star Vin Diesel Do Not Get Along

Dwayne ‘the rock’ Johnson, either you think of him more from his days as a professional wrestler or as a modern-day action movie actor. It probably depends a lot on exactly what year you were born and whether or not you ever actually watched any wrestling.

Since making the transition from running around a WWE ring to being a full-time actor he’s made himself remarkably popular with both other actors, actresses and movie going fans as well.

But it would seem that there is someone out there that he REALLY does not like or get along with these days at all. That person would be Vin Diesel.

The feud between the two goes all the way back to when the two worked together as part of The Fate of the Furious movie. Johnson apparently didn’t think that Diesel acted very professionally during the filming of the movie and was incredibly mad at him for his behaviour.

Johnson say that him and Diesel have a “fundamental difference in philosophies on how we approach movie-making and collaborating.”

Apparently they were unable to work together and by the end of filming could not be on the set at the same time. The two were also not put in scenes together.

They have not worked together at all since then, Johnson says that he thinks he understands Diesel better now though.

“It took me some time, but I’m grateful for that clarity. Whether we work together again or not,” he said. “But I wish him all the best, and I harbour no ill will there, just because of the clarity we have.”

That doesn’t mean he likes him now though saying “Actually, you can erase that last part about ‘no ill will.’ We’ll just keep it with the clarity.”

Don’t get in a room with these two alone.
