Sarkodie Addresses Road Safety In New Song Titled ‘Wake Up Call”

It’s a wake-up call for us to ensure that there are safe roads in this country. We all know Sarkodie hardly raps on national issues unless of course, it’s really bothering him. He has thus released a new song titled ‘Wake Up Call’ to call on to ensure that the appropriate measures are implemented so our roads become safe to use.

Our dancehall diva, Ebony Reigns died unfortunately in a fatal road accident after her driver landed in a pothole, that claimed her life and that of two others. If you listen to the song, it’s obvious it was inspired by Ebony’s unfortunate demise and also that of several other people who had lost their lives because of road accidents.

Sarkodie calls on the authorities to do the needful and also asked drivers, passengers to also do their part, to ensure that our roads are safe enough, the road safety rules are also adhered to.

He admitted that, while we cannot disregard the prophecies of men of God, it was also very important that attention being paid to our roads.

This is indeed a wake up call on all of us and he featured Benji on this one. The song was also produced by WillisBeatz. SHARE this story with friends and everyone who uses the road to get the message Sarkodie wants to put across in the song.
