We Won’t Accept Any More Insults From Musicians – Charterhouse CEO

The organizers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, particularly the CEO Theresa Ayaode have often been subjected to verbal abuse anytime the expectations of musicians relative to the award scheme are not met.

Against this backdrop, Mrs. Theresa Ayoade has warned that she and her outfit won’t tolerate any abusive words or comments from musicians any longer. She made this announcement during the unveiling of the the nominees’ party of 2018 edition of Ghana music awards.

She made it clear they accept constructive criticism but they will seek legal redress if they feel like their rights have been violated.

She then advised that musicians can be upset or angry in case their expectations are not met, but she will plead that they pour out their grievances in a civilized manner.

She said:

You can be upset, you can be angry but please address your grievances in a civil way, so we can work together to build the industry.

Again she asserted that they are a listening organization and also welcome suggestions, that’s why they keep making changes every year.
