I’m still waiting for you in the studios- Fancy Gadam tells lifeless Ebony

Dancehall Artiste, Ebony Reigns has been confirmed dead in a gruesome accident on the Sunyani-Kumasi road Thursday night and Ghanaians have been left in total shock and devastation.

Ebony, 20 took the Ghana music industry by storm in 2016 with a series of hit songs including “Poison”, “Sponsor”, “Date ur fada” and her most recent hit song “Maame Hw3” and was a major contender for this year’s VGMA Artiste of the Year.

In 2017, the “90s bad girl” competed for the New Artiste of Year, an award Tamale based Musician, Fancy Gadam beat her to win it.

Before her untimely death, the two were again in the forefront for this year’s VGMA Artiste of the Year

Following the death of the “Maame Hw3” hitmaker, Fancy Gadam took to Twitter to share a video of himself with Ebony, disclosing that they spoke about a collaboration a few weeks ago.

“So am [I am] still waiting for you in the studios” Fancy Gadam said.

“We spoke about our collaboration few weeks ago, so am still waiting for you in the studios. God I can not believe this .. if indeed true, Rest Well My Sister Ebony! This is hard … Heartbroken ” he wrote on Twitter
