Somewhere 2016, one underground artiste called Lord Paper shot to fame with an erotic music video titled ‘Awurama’. Due to its highly sexual content, YouTube pulled the music video down in less than 24 hours after its upload.
Lord paper style of music videos raised eyebrows in Ghana yet he proved adamant. However, Lord Paper in an interaction with JoyNews’ Maxwell Amoofia reveals that he has turned a new leaf and will no longer release ‘pornographic’ music videos. Lord Paper voiced that he had to consider the criticisms of Ghanaians, one reason for his change in direction.
I just respect Ghanaians. I do the music for them. If they tell me they don’t like this thing, I have to listen,” the rapper said.
In spite of his transformation, the ‘Awurama’ hit maker discloses that he doesn’t regret releasing pornographic music videos.
“I don’t regret. I have a tour in London. I have a song with Mr. Eazi and I have a song with Joey B. I don’t regret,” he insisted.
